randy and claudia made sure that things were just perfect

beautiful home. lovely people. strong active horses. monkeys on property. huge pool. amazing view. 20 minutes to get off the hill but totally worth it as the house and land are quite secluded. master bedroom and wrap around decks on both floors are the best part of the house. Amazing views! great for a family who wants some time away from it all. we did sooo much while we were there went to zip lines, botanic gardens, waterfall repelling, manuel antonio park, the beach, boat ride to tortuga island (included), snorkeling, bbq at house and swimming in pool and of course horseback riding on the property (which was included as well). randy and claudia are seriously really good people who actually care about you and your vacation. i hope to see them and costa rica again soon.

Ultimate relaxing vacation

My girlfriend and I and her parents spent a week at Casa Brisas de la Montana. The home is fantastic. It has everything one needs and is absolutely stunning and the location is perfect. The mountain setting was a different choice for us and I couldn't be happier. It has changed the way I will book vacations because I enjoyed it so much. You feel like you have the entire Costa Rican jungle to yourselves and perched on the mountain, the view is amazing. When you are taking the first drive up the winding gravel mountain road, you will ask yourself "where am I going?". However, once you are at the villa, you realize this is one of the best features of the location - you have absolute privacy and no distractions like most tourist-oriented properties. I can honestly say it was the most relaxing environment I have ever stayed at. It was very easy to balance activities away from the villa with relaxing at the villa. We alternated days between enjoying the sunbathing/swimming/reading with day trips away from the moutain. When you are at the villa you can easily take in horseback riding (we went on two afternoon excursions to see the monkeys and birds) and hiking. There is a zip line just 10minutes down the hill that was awesome and we hiked to a waterfall for a dip in a mountain stream. On days away from the mountain, we went deep sea fishing (thanks Tom) and to the Manual antonio park. Each was a leisurely drive arranged by Randy and Claudia. The service was excellent - from the pickup at the airport to taking care of absolutely any day-to-day requirements. Randy and Claudia made sure that if there was anything we needed, it was handled immediately - driving, tours, food and drink, etc. We arranged to have a catered meal one night at the villa which worked out fantastic and several nights we grilled ourselves. We also loved the small authentic restaurants near the villa and in Parrita. This was the best vacation I have ever taken.

Our stay at this luxurious, most comfortable home exceeded all my very high expectations. The beautiful new home was extremely spacious and clearly a custom built high quality home with gorgeous teak used throughout, including huge teak french doors that opened up from every room and made you feel like you were always a part of the outdoors. We spent a lot of time under the covered terraces which surrounded 2 entire sides of the home on both floors. That and the large infinity pool with multi-level patios and built in barb'q had us outside the majority of the time. The scenery and feeling of being part of the incredible nature made it difficult to spend too much time inside. The amazing landscaping and flowers (thanks to Scheila) put the finishing touches on the outdoors. We were completely surrounded by gorgeous nature -- jungles, forests, mountains and Pacific Ocean in the distance. We cooked our meals in the beautiful kitchen and ate in the many romantic areas of the home. We could not have been more comfortable in our deluxe king size bed in the enormous a/c master bedroom. The master bath is gorgeous with its large bathtub with 3 bay windows surrounding it to look out at nature at its best. The monkeys, an array of butterflies, toucans and many other birds were right outside our door. The horses were also all around but we didn't take the opportunity to go for a ride. If it sounds good to be in an outrageous home in the middle of some of the most gorgeous nature and be away from it all -- and you are away from it all -- this vacation home is for you. The owners of the home were a huge plus in our stay. We went out on their boat 2 times and were introduced to Costa Rica in a way only people who live there could have done. Tom and Scheila and Randy made us feel like friends who wanted us to have the time of our lives -- and we did! What an amazing way to spend our 40th anniversary.

"Who Says You Can't Have It All"!!

Tom picked us up at the airport and thus began our tropical vacation at the "Luxury Ocean View House". We were only staying a week and wanted to pack as much fun filled activities into our short stay as possible. The accommodations were unbeleivable. The house is so open and airy with the warmth of teak wood (indigenous to Costa Rica) throughout the rooms which were so comfortably furnished. You are nesteled in the middle of the mountains with these awsome views of the ocean and the jungles surrounded by nature. We felt like we were in our own private castle. Most mornings, we headed out to the beach to surf (sunrise is early in Costa) and the waves got better with each passing day. By afternoon, we were on the boat heading out to some secret fishing spot (Tom knows) to catch some dinner. Of course, you could also catch some fine dining in town too, and Tom knows all the hot spots. But for us, most nights we cooked out on the veranda to take advantage of the fresh caught fish and the awsome sunsets. Entertainment was provided by the locals- the monkeys would come down out of their trees and find their way up to our deck to see what was cooking. Nature at it's best. They did keep us laughing. As the sun went down, you could find us in the pool (infinity pool, so cool) margueritas in hand planning tomorrows adventures. Did I mention that there is a casino in town (for the gambler at heart) loved it!! We slept the night like babies in comfortable beds breathing in that crisp mountain air. I have to say we had a completely stress free vacation with our guides Tom and Scheila taking care of our every need. They are both extremely knowledgable of the Costa Rica countryside and go out of their way to see you have an unforgettable vacation. I can't think of one negative thing to say except I wish we could of stayed longer. Thanks Tom and Schelia!!!
